Tradewind Recruitment in Whitstable is working closely with a range of primary, secondary and specialist SEN schools across Dover and the surrounding areas, seeking enthusiastic and energetic Sports Teaching Assistants to join their teams immediately.
This role is ideal for anyone with a background in coaching, fitness or sport who wants to use those skills to support children both in the classroom and during PE, enrichment activities and outdoor learning.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with their learning during classroom lessons.
- Use sport and physical activity to encourage engagement, confidence and positive behaviour.
- Assist teachers during PE lessons and school sporting activities.
- Deliver small group or one-to-one interventions for pupils who need additional support.
- Encourage participation, teamwork and healthy lifestyles.
