Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a KS1 Teacher for full-time roles in the Thanet area with a September start. This would involve full classroom teaching responsibilities and salary will be paid at scale. These roles are on a temp-to-perm basis, at schools that are wide-ranging in their quirks. We work with academies that are part of larger MATS, as well as smaller maintained schools that are more community-focused. Every school is different and we take great pride and care in making sure we match you with the right school for you. I am looking to speak to both ECTs and experienced teachers alike, as shortlisting and interviews are happening ASAP.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering the KS1 Curriculum.
  • Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported and challenged appropriately with the work set.
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively.
  • Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students.

Requirements

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK.
  • Experience as a KS1 Teacher, or a Primary Teacher in KS2 with an interest in teaching in KS1 would be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable).
  • Have right to work in the UK.
