Location: Faversham

Start Date: September 2026 - full time

Salary: 32,916 - 51,047 depending on experience and payscale - PAYE

Are you passionate about food and eager to share your expertise with the next generation? If so, look no further! Tradewind Recruitment are actively seeking enthusiastic Food Technology teachers to work in a range of secondary schools in the Faversham area. The roles will be full time starting in September 2026!

Role:

  • Plan and deliver both practical and theory based Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Inspire and educate students through hands on cooking experiences, creative projects and engaging lessons
  • Attend parents evenings and Departmental meetings after school where required

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS status, equivalent teaching qualification or have relevant teaching experience
  • Have strong subject knowledge of the Food Technology curriculum across KS3 and KS4
  • Experience of teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting is essential
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
