Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for IT Teachers based in Hull and the East Riding, starting 2nd September 2025, or ASAP, on an ongoing supply basis. This is a temporary position to cover a variety of different roles – with longer term roles available. Payment for this position would be between £140 and £175 for daily supply bookings (with the higher in the subject specialisms), and paid to scale for longer term positions. This works between £162.63 and £251.75 per day.
This role will involve teaching IT/Computer Science to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. As we work with colleges we also have a need for teachers with Key Stage 5 specialisms.
With schools in all Geographical Areas of Hull and the East Riding including:
- Hull
- Withernsea
- Driffield
- Pocklington
- Brough
We have a range of schools to suit different preferences. If you are a driver, you have range to a large number of secondary schools (this year we have worked with 30+), and if not we have local schools to suit different geographical locations. Working as a supply IT/Computer Science teacher can be a great chance to experience different schools, and with IT/Computer Science being such an in demand subject specialism, the chances of work not being available is very low.

- Has experience supporting within UK schools
- Has experience teaching IT/Computing to Key Stage 3 and 4
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
