Tradewind are recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher on behalf of an independent secondary school based in Islington. This is a full-time opportunity starting in September on a fixed term contract for 1 full academic year.
The Client is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Physics Teacher who can deliver outstanding lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and A Level. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Physics lessons, preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations, assessing and monitoring pupil progress, and contributing positively to the wider Science department.
You will be expected to inspire students through creative teaching, maintain high academic standards, and support pupils in achieving excellent outcomes. The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, alongside a degree in Physics or a closely related subject.
This Client is looking for a teacher with excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach to teaching, and a commitment to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
