Maths and English Intervention Teacher or Tutor Required! Are you a Qualified Secondary Maths or English Teacher looking for Intervention teaching in Bristol ASAP or from after February half term? Tradewind Recruitment is looking for enthusiastic and engaging Intervention Teachers for additional support with 'catch up' for students that are falling behind in Maths and English This will be working predominantly with year 10 & 11 students and will be required part to full time working with small groups of students. It is imperative that these year 10 & 11 students get the additional support they need to catch up and so we will be requiring a teacher or tutor to work asap until the end of the academic year, to get them ready and where they need to be for their GCSE's. The tutoring work will involve working on a 1:1 basis & also small group work with various students of mixed ability. Some will be vulnerable students, and some may have special educational needs. Due to this we are looking for a diverse individual who can engage students of all abilities and build strong and trusting relationships quickly. This role will involve working with students aged between 15 and 16 and would suit a qualified Maths or English teacher looking for a different challenge, or online tutors who are looking for a step into a classroom environment! We will also consider and welcome applications from degree qualified individuals who are confident to support young people in the classroom. Previous experience working with young people in some shape or form is essential, but QTS is preferential.
