Location: Hull, United Kingdom

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (pro rata)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm

Start Date: 15th July

Contract: Interim (8 weeks initially, with potential for extension)

Tradewind Recruitment, a leading education supply specialist, is currently recruiting on behalf of a college in Hull for an experienced Interim Payroll Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional to provide short-term cover within a busy college environment.

The role is due to start on 15th July and will initially run for 8 weeks, with the possibility of being extended depending on business needs. The college is centrally located in Hull and easily accessible via public transport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
  • Oversee payroll administration, including statutory deductions and pension contributions.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC legislation and payroll best practice.
  • Resolve payroll queries from employees promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and produce relevant reports.
  • Work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll information is up to date.
