Are you looking to transition your military experience into a rewarding role that combines classroom teaching with the great outdoors? We are seeking a resilient, structured, and inspiring individual to join our Alternative Provision (AP) in Barnoldswick, Lancashire. This role is perfect for an ex-military professional or veteran who wants to make a real-world impact on young people who have struggled in mainstream education. You do not need a teaching qualification to apply. We value leadership, discipline, life experience, and a passion for mentoring above pieces of paper.
The Role
In this role, you won’t be managing a chaotic classroom of thirty students. Instead, you will be working in small groups and 1:1 settings with secondary-aged pupils who need a different approach to learning. You will blend core classroom education with outdoor learning, utilising the natural environment around Lancashire to teach teamwork, resilience, and life skills.
