We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate Secondary Music Teacher to join welcoming secondary schools across Chesterfield & Sheffield on a full-time basis, starting ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated teacher to inspire students through engaging and creative music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire a love of music
- Be confident teaching practical and theory-based lessons
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Be committed to supporting students of all abilities
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Music lessons
- Assessing and monitoring student progress
- Encouraging creativity, performance, and participation
- Supporting extracurricular music activities where appropriate
- Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
