The Role
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Creating a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
- Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress
- Differentiating lessons to support pupils of all abilities
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, phase leaders, and senior leadership
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Contributing to the wider school community and extracurricular activities where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2 or relevant placement experience
- Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom practice
- Is enthusiastic, organised, and committed to raising attainment
- Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills
- Can create engaging lessons that motivate and challenge pupils
- Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life
