A welcoming and well-respected primary school in Lytham St. Annes is seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Creating a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress
  • Differentiating lessons to support pupils of all abilities
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, phase leaders, and senior leadership
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Contributing to the wider school community and extracurricular activities where appropriate

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2 or relevant placement experience
  • Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom practice
  • Is enthusiastic, organised, and committed to raising attainment
  • Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills
  • Can create engaging lessons that motivate and challenge pupils
  • Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life

ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply and will be fully supported through their induction period.
