The Role
Full‑time position
- Morning sessions providing pastoral, behavioural, and wellbeing support to pupils.
- Afternoon sessions leading and developing our Forest School provision.
- Opportunities to work closely with teaching staff and wider support teams.
Option 2: Part‑time Forest School Lead – PM only
- Leading Forest School sessions each afternoon, Monday to Friday.
- Planning and delivering engaging outdoor learning experiences.
- Promoting confidence, resilience, teamwork, and independence through outdoor education.
About You
- Holds a Forest School qualification, ideally Level3 Forest School Leader (Level2 practitioners will also be considered).
- Has experience delivering high‑quality outdoor learning experiences.
- Is passionate about supporting children’s personal development and wellbeing.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
- Is confident working independently and taking ownership of a Forest School provision.
What would be advantageous
- A teaching qualification.
- HLTA status or equivalent experience.
- Experience delivering pastoral support within a school setting.
- Experience supporting children with additional needs or emotional wellbeing needs.
