A Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Redbridge is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Business Studies Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This rewarding role involves teaching GCSE Business Studies to students who require additional support to engage with education and achieve their potential.
The successful candidate will be passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes.
The Role
Deliver engaging and effective GCSE Business Studies lessons.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students with a range of social, emotional and behavioural needs.
Foster a positive learning environment that promotes achievement, confidence and personal development.
Monitor student progress and contribute to intervention and support plans where required.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching Business Studies at GCSE level.
Can teach at least one additional subject; the second subject is flexible and will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience and specialism.
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills.
Has a commitment to supporting students within an alternative provision setting.
