Are you looking to secure your first teaching post and get underway with your induction? Tradewind are actively looking for Early Career Teachers who will be considering roles in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 for the 27 academic year across the Tameside borough. Tradewind have a strong, established presence with many schools across Tameside including two of the biggest MAT's in the area. We feel proud to have supported many ECT's in securing their first role, where they have since transitioned onto permanent school contracts!
We work with schools in the following areas:
- Hyde
- Denton
- Droylsden
- Ashton-Under-Lyne
- Stalybridge
- Mossley
As a former teaching professional, I have a proven track record supporting ECT's and understand how schools differ greatly from system structures, curriculum and catchment. As a result of close relationships with our schools, we are able to paint an accurate picture of what to expect to help ease your transition and place you in a role that ticks your specific boxes!
Our schools look for Early Career Teachers who:
- Have a strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, KS1, and or KS2 curriculum
- A positive 'can do' attitude towards classroom teaching
- A teacher who is open to advice and will actively work on feedback provided
- Teachers who work well independently as well as part of a team
- ECT's with experience in various curriculum schemes including RWI, Letters and Sounds, White Rose Maths, Oxford Tree Reading, Rising Stars and more!
- Strong record of attendance
