Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting a committed and compassionate SEN Level 1 Teaching Assistant to work across specialist SEN provisions in the East Lindsey area of Lincolnshire. These settings support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and a range of Learning Disabilities, providing structured, inclusive, and supportive environments where children and young people are encouraged to develop confidence and independence.

The Role:
- Support pupils with Autism and Learning Disabilities throughout the school day
- Assist teachers and SEN staff in delivering personalised and engaging learning activities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual needs
- Encourage positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and social development
- Help create a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Use a patient, consistent, and nurturing approach to support pupils with additional needs
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEN
- Have experience within SEN or a willingness to develop knowledge of Autism and Learning Disabilities
- Be adaptable and confident supporting individuals and small groups
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a caring, professional approach
- Hold a Level 1 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant SEN experience (desirable but not essential)
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
Pay: £13.80 - £15.80 per hour, dependent on experience
