Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate and dedicated KS4 SEN Teacher to work within a specialist SEN school. You will be supporting students aged 14-16 with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and a range of additional needs, helping them prepare for adulthood in a structured, nurturing, and supportive environment.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference, delivering engaging and personalised learning that supports both academic progress and life skills development.
- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to KS4 students with SEN
- Adapt the curriculum to meet a range of learning needs, including Autism and moderate to severe learning difficulties
- Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCP targets
- Prepare pupils for adulthood, including functional skills, independence, and employability skills
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and wider school staff to support holistic development
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with KS3/KS4 students with SEN, particularly Autism and Learning Disabilities
- Understanding of EHCPs and SEN best practices within a specialist setting
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- Legal right to work in the UK
