Are you an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) ready to take the next step in your career? A friendly and inclusive primary school in Mitcham is looking for a dedicated HLTA to join their team from September 2025.

Location: Mitcham

Start Date: September 2025

Daily Rate: £100 - £120 (depending on experience)

Role Overview:

  • Delivering lessons in the absence of the class teacher
  • Supporting pupils across a range of year groups
  • Leading small group interventions and supporting SEND pupils
  • Assisting with planning and assessment where required
  • Working closely with teaching staff to raise achievement and engagement

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary school
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • A positive, proactive and flexible attitude
