Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in the classroom every day? We are looking for a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming secondary school in Huyton, helping pupils thrive and reach their full potential.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across a range of subjects
- Leading small group interventions and sometimes covering whole classes when required
- Providing one-to-one support for students who need a little extra help
- Encouraging students to stay motivated, focused, and confident in their learning
- Bringing positivity, patience, and energy into every school day
What we’re looking for:
- Someone available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm during term time
- HLTA status or equivalent experience supporting teaching and learning in a secondary setting
- Confidence working with pupils aged 11-16 across different ability levels
- A team player who’s flexible, reliable, and passionate about helping young people succeed
