About the Role
As HLTA within the ARP, you will be central to creating a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment where children can thrive. You will work closely with teaching staff and therapists, lead targeted interventions, and support pupils’ communication, social, emotional, and academic development. You may also be asked to cover classes from time to time alongside your duties in the ARP.
Qualifications
- Hold HLTA status or have substantial experience at HLTA level
- Strong background supporting children with autism and additional complex needs
- Confident delivering interventions and leading small-group or whole-class sessions
- Demonstrate knowledge of strategies such as sensory regulation, communication systems, and positive behaviour support
- Solid understanding of child development within EYFS and KS1
- Calm, proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused
- Committed to inclusive education and achieving positive outcomes for every pupil
