Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking passionate and resilient Core Subject Teachers (English, Maths, and Science) to work in a Secondary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the Chapel area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who require additional support outside of mainstream education. The provision supports students with a range of social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, so we are looking for individuals who are patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging lessons across your specialist subject
- Support students with diverse learning and behavioural needs
- Create a positive and structured learning environment
- Work closely with support staff and senior leaders to meet individual student goals
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have experience teaching in a secondary setting (PRU or alternative provision experience is desirable)
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
- Be empathetic, resilient, and committed to supporting vulnerable learners
