Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced, resilient and compassionate High Needs Tutors to provide high-quality, personalised education to children and young people across Sheffield, working outside of the traditional school setting. This rewarding supply opportunity offers flexibility while making a significant difference to learners with complex additional needs who require tailored educational support.
As a High Needs Tutor, you will work on a 1:1 basis with pupils across a range of settings, including homes, community venues and alternative provisions. You will deliver bespoke educational programmes designed to meet each learner's individual academic, social and emotional needs.
Due to the nature of the role and travelling between multiple locations, candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
The Role:
- You will be supporting children and young people with high levels of need, many of whom are currently unable to access mainstream education.
- Learners may present with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
