About the Role
Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of primary schools in Hull and the surrounding areas. Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, a graduate exploring a career in education, or someone with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to help young learners thrive - we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning support.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
- Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required.
- Helping to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Assignments can vary from day-to-day supply to longer-term placements, offering flexibility and variety.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable).
- A positive, caring, and adaptable attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting primary education.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
