A large secondary school based in Acton is looking for a Head of History to join their humanities department. The role is to start in April and is available on a long‑term basis, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. This is a full‑time position, and applicants should be confident leading a department and driving high standards across KS3–KS5. Salary will be in line with Inner London MPS/UPS, plus a TLR for the responsibility. The school benefits from excellent transport links and on‑site parking.

Lead and develop the History department, ensuring high‑quality teaching and learning across all key stages. Design and deliver an engaging and ambitious curriculum that inspires curiosity and a love of history.
