Are you an experienced Science Technician looking for your next opportunity, or a graduate with a strong science background looking to build a career within education? We're looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic Science Technician to join a fantastic secondary school in Hillingdon on a long-term, part-time basis, with the opportunity to become permanent with the school following a successful introduction and placement.
This is a Monday to Friday, 9:30am-2:30pm position, offering excellent consistency and the opportunity to become a valued member of the school's science department.

You'll play an important role in ensuring science lessons run smoothly, preparing equipment and materials, maintaining laboratory resources and supporting the department with day-to-day practical requirements.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing equipment, materials and practical resources for science lessons
- Setting up and clearing away practical experiments
- Supporting teachers during practical lessons where required
- Maintaining and organising laboratory equipment and resources
- Ensuring laboratories and preparation areas are clean, safe and well organised
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels of equipment and consumables
- Following appropriate health and safety procedures
- Supporting the wider science department with day-to-day requirements

- Previous experience as a Science Technician is desirable, but candidates with a strong science background and relevant practical experience will also be considered.
