Location: Folkestone
Start: ASAP - Temp to perm available for the right candidates
Salary: 32,916 - 51,047 depending on experience
Tradewind Recruitment are actively searching for enthusiastic History Teachers to work long term in a variety of secondary schools in the Folkestone area. The roles are to start ASAP and will be until July in the first instance, full time! Temp to perm options are available for the right candidates.
The role:
- Create and deliver lesson plans across KS3 and KS4 ensuring all abilities and needs are met
- Foster a deep appreciation for History and its relevance to the modern world
- Track and monitor progress to ensure all students reach their full potential
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the History Department and across the wider school
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience in teaching History across KS3 and KS4
- Excellent behaviour management
- Strong communication skills
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
