Passionate SEN Tutors Wanted in Strood and Surrounding Areas
Pay: 27/hour (QTS) | 25/hour (Non-QTS)

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking experienced and compassionate professionals to deliver personalised intervention sessions for students who are currently without a formal school placement. These students will have Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and may need additional support to meet their unique learning and developmental goals.
Our ongoing roles offer flexibility - whether you’d like to support multiple learners or work consistently with one student until they transition to a full-time setting. Work part-time or full-time - whatever suits your availability. The tuition takes place term time, during school hours.
Your Role as an SEN Tutor
- Provide one-to-one, needs-based tuition sessions.
- Support students' academic progress and personal development, always working towards the targets on their EHCP.
- Adapt teaching strategies to address individual learning challenges.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in both English and Maths.
- Collaborate closely with parents, carers, and external professionals.
- Keep accurate records of student progress and attendance.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) OR extensive experience planning and delivering one-to-one tuition to children.
