We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils within welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary schools across Surrey - specifically, Guildford, Redhill, Caterham and Woking.

You will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with a variety of additional needs, helping to create a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment where every child can succeed.

The Role:
/n
/n
- /n
Provide 1:1 tailored support for your assigned pupil
/n
- /n
Be confident to support SEND, including ASD, ADHD, Emotional Dysregulation
/n
- /n
Support learning, emotional regulation, and social development
/n
- /n
Work alongside class teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP target and support plan
/n
- /n
Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs of the child
/n
- /n
Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
/n
/n
The Ideal Candidate:
/n
/n
- /n
Holds at least a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable)
/n
- /n
Has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within SEND or inclusion
/n
- /n
Confident supporting pupils with additional needs in a mainstream primary setting
/n
- /n
Patient, empathetic, and committed to pupil progress and wellbeing
/n
- /n
Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
/n
- /n
Available Monday to Friday (part-time roles still require weekday availability)
/n
/n
Pay: Β£93 per day for candidates with a minimum of 3 months experience supporting children or young people in an educational, care or SEND setting. Β£100 per day for candidates who hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and have over 12 months previous experience supporting prupils with SEND including ASc, ADHD, SEMH or SLD or experience with personal care.
