The role
- Teach Psychology across the ability range, including A Level.
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and well-structured lessons.
- Inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of psychological theory, research and its real-world applications.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement.
- Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the school.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and ambitious learning environment.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Psychology, ideally including A Level.
- Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Psychology.
- Is committed to achieving high standards for every student.
- Can create engaging lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking and independent learning.
- Is an effective communicator and collaborative colleague.
- Holds or is willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references.
- Has the legal right to work in the UK.
