We're recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to start September from the new academic year. Whether you hold a degree in Education, Psychology, English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, Sports, or any other subject-specific degree, we want to hear from you. This role is particularly well-suited for those considering a future career in teaching. You'll gain practical, paid experience working alongside experienced teachers, supporting learning and development in the classroom, and getting a true insight into the life of a teacher. Many of our teaching assistants go on to begin teacher training the following year, using this experience as a springboard into a rewarding career in education.

What we're looking for:

What the role entails:

  • Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Working one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who need additional support
  • Assisting with the planning and preparation of learning activities
  • Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN), where required
  • Supervising pupils during breaktimes, lunchtimes, and on school trips
  • Providing feedback to teachers on pupil progress and behaviour
