Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be working with this Client, a highly respected and ambitious secondary foundation school based in Southwark, who are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Geography Teacher to join their successful Humanities department on a permanent basis from September. This is a full-time opportunity offering a salary on the London MPS/UPS scale, with interviews to be arranged immediately.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and forward-thinking Humanities department, delivering engaging and inspiring Geography lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and potentially Key Stage 5.
Responsibilities- Planning and delivering high-quality Geography lessons that engage and challenge students
- Creating a stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity and academic achievement
- Assessing, monitoring, and tracking student progress effectively
- Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development
- Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and achievement
- Participating fully in departmental and whole-school initiatives
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have a relevant degree in Geography or a related subject
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
- Have experience teaching Geography at secondary level
- Be committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning
- Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Be dedicated to supporting student progress and achievement
