Tradewind Recruitment are looking for an experienced School Caretaker to support a lovely village Primary School. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards across a school site. The hours for this role are flexible, the standard hours are 7am until 2pm.
Duties Include:
- Daily site inspections
- Minor maintenance and repair work
- Monitoring contractors on site
- Supporting site security procedures
- Ensuring classrooms and communal areas are prepared for use
Requirements:
- Child Only DBS is essential for the role - DBS clearance or willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check
- Previous experience within a school, facilities or maintenance environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to respond effectively to site issues
- Good understanding of safeguarding and health and safety
