Tradewind Recruitment are working with specialist education providers and local authorities to recruit Former Nurses to deliver 1:1 SEND tutoring to Key Stage 3 pupils who are currently unable to access mainstream education.
This role is predominantly based outside of a school setting, supporting pupils within their homes, community locations or other agreed learning environments. You will provide a consistent and nurturing presence, helping young people rebuild confidence, re-engage with education and develop positive relationships with learning.
Many of the pupils have experienced disrupted education and require a trusted adult who can provide regularity, stability and encouragement. The ability to build strong relationships and consistently attend sessions is essential, as having a familiar person they can rely on can make a significant difference.
