Are you a football coach in Swindon looking for a new challenge? Do you want to use your coaching skills and passion for the game to inspire young people in the classroom as well as on the pitch? We are looking for Football Coaches to work as Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors in Primary, Secondary, and SEN schools across Swindon from September 2025 (and beyond). Your football coaching background means you already have the skills schools value most: energy, adaptability, teamwork, and the ability to motivate and support children of all abilities. This is the perfect opportunity to make a real difference while gaining valuable experience in education.
Responsibilities
- Supporting teachers with lessons and activities across subjects
- Encouraging positive behaviour and teamwork
- Adapting your support to meet the needs of different pupils
- Looking after students\' physical, social, and emotional wellbeing
- Creating engaging learning environments – inside and outside the classroom
Qualifications / Essentials
- Football coaching background (grassroots, academies, schools, or clubs)
- Positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working with children
- Available at least 2 days per week (08:30-15:30, Mon-Fri)
- Right to work in the UK
