Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools in the Wigan area for a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to start in September. This is a full‑time supply position expected to continue for at least one term, with the potential to be extended beyond this. The school is a well‑regarded and inclusive secondary setting known for its positive, caring culture and high expectations. The role:

  • Teaching Food Studies at Key Stage 3
  • Delivering Food Preparation and Nutrition at Key Stage 4
  • Planning and delivering engaging, practical and theory‑based lessons
  • Creating a positive and well‑managed classroom environment
  • Supporting students to make strong progress in both skills and subject knowledge

This opportunity would suit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher with experience of teaching Food Technology or Food‑related subjects across secondary age ranges. The school is looking for someone who can inspire students, maintain high standards in the classroom and contribute positively to a collaborative department.

Pay: Up to 232.56 per day
