- Full-Time | 5 Days per Week | Southwark
Are you an experienced Food Technician with a strong knowledge of food preparation, nutrition and practical food education?
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Food Technician to join a welcoming school in Southwark.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent practical knowledge, and a genuine interest in supporting students within a busy school environment.
A relevant degree is preferred, although strong practical experience and subject knowledge will also be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and organise ingredients, equipment and resources for practical food lessons.
Support teachers and students during practical cooking and food technology sessions.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, health and safety.
Manage stock, ordering and storage of food and equipment.
Ensure kitchens, workspaces and equipment are clean, safe and ready for use.
Support the smooth day-to-day running of the Food Technology department.
Contribute to a positive, engaging and well-organised learning environment.
