Tradewind Recruitment are actively recruiting for creative Music Teachers to work within secondary schools in the Folkestone area. The roles are full-time long-term opportunities starting in September 2026 with a salary of between £32,916 and £51,047 depending on experience.

The role:

  • Plan and deliver both theory and practical Music lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Attend departmental meetings and parents evenings when required
  • Assist in organising and overseeing school concerts, recitals and music events within the school
  • Lead engaging and innovative music lessons tailored to students of all abilities and ages across KS3 and KS4

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience of teaching music within an educational setting
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
