What You'll Be Doing Every pupil is different, so your day will be varied and rewarding. You could be: Supporting a young person to stay engaged during lessons. Helping pupils manage their emotions using positive behaviour strategies. Encouraging confidence, independence and self-esteem. Working one-to-one with pupils or supporting small groups. Assisting teachers in delivering creative and engaging learning activities. Acting as a positive role model both inside and outside the classroom. Celebrating every achievement, no matter how small.Your support can have a life-changing impact on a young person's education and future. Who You'll Be Supporting You'll work with children and young people who may have: Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) ADHD Trauma and attachment-related needs Anxiety and emotional regulation difficulties Behavioural challenges that require patient and consistent supportFull guidance and support will be provided by experienced school staff.
