Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools in South West London
Location: Primary schools in the London Boroughs of Kingston and Richmond
Start Date: ASAP
Are you an enthusiastic, proactive individual with a passion for supporting children's learning? We're looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team and work flexibly across primary schools in Kingston and Richmond. If you're committed to helping young learners thrive and can ideally work five days a week, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:- Support class teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across a range of year groups
- Assist with classroom management and provide one-to-one or small group support
- Help prepare and organise teaching materials and resources
- Encourage positive behaviour and contribute to a nurturing, inclusive learning environment
- Offer tailored support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) where needed
- Build strong, supportive relationships with both pupils and school staff
- Experience working with children in a school setting (preferred, but not essential)
- A patient, adaptable, and caring approach to working with young learners
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- A sound understanding of the primary curriculum is an advantage
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Availability for full-time work (Monday to Friday preferred)
