Tradewind Recruitment is hiring SEN Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) in Blackpool and Fleetwood. Support pupils with EHCPs in high-impact 1:1 roles. Competitive pay (13.68-14.68/hr). Level 3 required or Apprenticeship pathways available via local colleges. Flexible 3-5 days weekly.
Location: Blackpool, Fleetwood & Fylde Coast
Pay: 13.68 - 14.68 per hour (Highly Competitive)
Contract: Temporary, Term Time (Full-time & Part-time options)
Start Date: Immediate / January 2026
Responsibilities
The Role: Targeted Impact
Success in this role is measured by the progress of the students you support. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Targeted Interventions: Delivering bespoke academic and behavioural support tailored to specific EHCP goals.
- Emotional Regulation: Acting as a steady, supportive presence for students navigating social, emotional, or mental health challenges.
- Inclusive Advocacy: Ensuring that students with complex needs are fully integrated into classroom life and celebrated for their "brave learning."

- The Level 3 Standard: You should hold a Level 3 qualification or be actively working towards one.
- Earn While You Learn: Are you looking to gain your Level 3? We partner directly with two local colleges to facilitate Apprenticeship pathways, allowing you to gain your qualification while working and earning.
Key Logistics
- Hours: Approx. 08:30 - 15:30 (Monday-Friday)
- Commitment: 3 to 5 days per week (Stability preferred)
- Protection: Full AWR (Agency Worker Regulations) protection
