Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Supply Teachers to work across a range of schools throughout Darlington. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced practitioners and ECTs to gain varied experience, work in supportive environments, and maintain a great work-life balance.
About the Role:
As a Secondary Supply Teacher for Tradewind, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across KS3-KS5 in your specialist subject. You will also be expected to manage classroom behaviour, follow school policies, and ensure pupils remain engaged and supported in their learning. We work with a wide range of schools, from large academies to smaller community schools, allowing you to experience different settings and find the perfect fit for your teaching style.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
- Two suitable references covering the last 2 years
- A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Passion for teaching
- Reliable, adaptable and confident in different classroom settings
