Tradewind are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to join a Primary School in Lancaster, working as a Teaching Assistant in their reception class supporting children with SEN. The role is on a full-time basis, 5 days a week starting ASAP, working from 8.30-3.30 with daily pay rates for this position £89-£99.
As a teaching assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for young children. You will assist with planning and delivering engaging lessons, providing one-on-one support for children with SEN, and helping to maintain a safe and orderly classroom.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, as well as a passion for working with young children.
To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
- NVQ level 2 qualification
- Experience of working with Early Years children
- Have an understanding of EHCP's
- SEN experience would be an advantage
- Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
