Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming Nursery School in St Albans who are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support for a child with physical disabilities and learning impairments, helping them to access learning, develop communication skills, and feel fully supported within the nursery environment.
The Role:
- Full-time position - Monday to Friday
- Supporting a nursery-aged child on a 1:1 basis
- Assisting with mobility and personal care where required
- Supporting learning, engagement, and social development
- Working closely with nursery staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Experience working with physical disabilities and learning impairments (desirable)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for supporting early years education
