SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a high-performing primary school in Southwark to recruit an experienced EYFS or KS1 teacher for a maternity cover position starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established school with a strong reputation for high standards, excellent behaviour, and a clear commitment to academic success. The leadership team is supportive yet ambitious, and they are seeking a teacher who can maintain and build on the school's strong outcomes.
The Role:
- Full-time maternity cover within EYFS or Key Stage 1 (year group dependent on experience)
- Planning and delivering consistently high-quality lessons
- Upholding high expectations for behaviour, presentation, and attainment
- Using assessment effectively to drive pupil progress
- Contributing positively to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have proven experience teaching in EYFS or KS1
- Demonstrate strong classroom practice and a track record of good or outstanding teaching
- Have high expectations and a commitment to maintaining standards
- Be confident, organised, and adaptable
- Be able to hit the ground running in a well-established setting
Please note: Unfortunately this role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
