Tradewind Recruitment is working with an inner-city Birmingham school looking for an Experienced KS2 Teacher who will also serve as the English Lead. The role is for the full academic year, with the possibility of a temporary to permanent placement for the right candidate. The school is committed to a caring, friendly and safe environment where all pupils can learn in a relaxed and secure atmosphere. Teachers are expected to protect all students from harm and support their full participation in school activities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives such as extracurricular activities, school events and parental engagement programmes.
- Engage in continuous professional development, staying up to date with the latest teaching methodologies and pedagogical approaches.
- Contribute to the wider school community and actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions and school improvement activities.
Qualifications:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Education or a PGCE.
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
- Prior experience as an English Lead.
- Passionate about education and dedicated to providing a high-quality learning experience for all students.
Other Details:
- Year group will be either Year 3 or Year 4, but is negotiable.
- Pay is in line with the main pay scale with Teacher Leadership Rating (TLR).
