Motor Vehicle Tutor - Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full-time Motor Vehicle Tutor to work at an Alternative Provision in Derby City, starting ASAP and lasting indefinitely. Ideally this will be a temporary-to-permanent position, with the successful candidate on supply for 12 weeks before transferring onto a permanent contract. Pay is between £20 to £30 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Teach Motor Vehicle techniques in the workshop to BTEC Level 2 and 3 students.
- Work with students to develop practical and theoretical motor vehicle skills.
- Be prepared to support assessment activities while at the Provision.
- Participate in development opportunities and CPD initiatives offered by Tradewind and The National College.
Qualifications and Experience
- Has a Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicles.
- Has experience teaching Motor Vehicles (ideal but not necessary).
- Has a Level 3 or above teaching qualification or a willingness to learn.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
- CV must cover the full CV history.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
Location and Benefits
Located in Derby City with easy access by bus or train and onsite parking. Tradewind will support your development during placement and beyond through CPD via The National College. Signing up for this role may provide opportunities for other shifts and roles through Tradewind Recruitment.
