Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants available to work on a long term basis within a Mainstream Primary School in a SEN Provision in Harlow.
The Role
- Support pupils across primary with a range of age groups and learning abilities.
- Work closely with pupils presenting ASD, ADHD, SEMH needs, additional learning needs and behavioural challenges.
- Build positive, supportive relationships that encourage engagement in learning.
- Assist with behaviour management strategies and create a safe, structured environment.
- Support teachers in delivering lessons and provide one-to-one or small group interventions.
About You
- Prior experience working within a PRU (Pupil Referral Unit), Alternative Provision, or similar setting.
- Proven experience supporting pupils with SEN and behavioural difficulties.
- A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach to supporting challenging behaviour.
- Flexibility to adapt to different age groups and settings within the provision.
