Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity this September or for the next academic year? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and resilient English Teachers to work across a range of Alternative Provision (AP) and Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings, supporting students who benefit from a personalised and inclusive approach to learning.

This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers, experienced SEN practitioners, or mainstream English teachers looking to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people. If you have a passion for language, literature and communication, and believe every student deserves the opportunity to succeed, we'd love to hear from you.

As an English Teacher in an AP or SEN setting, you will deliver engaging and accessible lessons that develop students' reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. You will adapt your teaching to meet a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and other learning differences. With smaller class sizes and increased classroom support, you'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships and help students achieve meaningful progress both academically and personally.

We are looking for teachers who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or have relevant teaching experience.
  • Are passionate about English and inspiring a love of reading and writing.
  • Have a patient, adaptable and positive approach to teaching.
  • Can differentiate lessons to meet a variety of learning needs.
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills and a commitment to inclusive education.

Tradewind Recruitment offers:

  • Long-term, permanent and flexible teaching opportunities.
  • Competitive rates of pay.
  • Free access to high-quality CPD, including specialist SEN training.
  • Ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant.
  • Opportunities to work in welcoming schools that prioritise staff wellbeing and professional development.

If you're ready to inspire confidence, encourage creativity and help students develop the communication skills they need for life, Tradewind Recruitment would love to hear from you.
