Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a dynamic Secondary English teacher in the Barrow-in-Furness area? Tradewind are currently recruiting for an experienced English teacher or strong Cover Supervisor with excellent English knowledge who is confident to plan and mark. This role is for a large mainstream Secondary school, predominantly teaching KS3 and KS4 students.
The role is to start ASAP ongoing until further notice. The school within the Barrow-in-Furness area is offering a long-term full-time placement 5 days a week with a possibility for the role to become permanent for the right candidate. The school is based in Barrow-in-Furness and has excellent public transport links.
This Secondary School is rated 'Good' and aims to provide the highest standards of teaching and learning so that all children can achieve their academic potential. They ensure that they foster and develop the social and emotional well-being of their children as well as concentrating on developing the potential of their staff. They have a bespoke approach to every pupil and family.
To join us and be successful in this English Teacher role you will need to:
- Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching KS3/KS4
- Degree in English or equivalent is preferred
