English Teacher, Welwyn Garden City Tradewind Secondary are recruiting for an English Teacher to join a popular, well run school from September on a permanent contract with one of our partner schools! This is a full time Teaching post for a popular and well run Secondary School! An OFSTED 'Good' school that offers well behaved students, an organised staff team and established HOD. We are looking for an established teacher or ECT able to teach English across key stages 3 and 4. Pay is to scale from MPS 1- 6 and UPS 1-3 for those past threshold and interviews are able to be arranged alongside your schedule (during school hours). The department is a busy and popular with students, teachers in the team have a range of experience levels and support each other with scaffolding and department nights out. Staff well-being is at the centre of the schools staffing ethos. Other wider duties include planning and preparing lessons for pupils in years 7-11, monitoring and recording assessments and supporting the faculty where required. You will be required to attend parents evening and department meetings bi-weekly. Located in Welwyn Garden City the school offers very well kept grounds, stacks of parking and good transport links from the local station and bus routes. To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate a strong knowledge of the Curriculum, teaching practices and the workload of a full time class teacher.
