Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils during English lessons to maximise engagement and achievement.
- Delivering small group and one-to-one intervention sessions.
- Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
- Helping students develop confidence in literacy, comprehension and written communication.
- Providing additional support to students who require extra guidance.
- Building positive relationships with pupils and contributing to a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Observing experienced teachers and developing your own classroom practice in preparation for teacher training.
- Playing an active role within the wider school community.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a degree in English, English Literature, English Language or a closely related subject.
- Is committed to pursuing teacher training and building a long-term career in education.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
