Tradewind are recruiting! We are looking for dynamic and engaging Graduates seeking school experience for Secondary classrooms across Warrington. Are you a recent graduate thinking about a career as a Secondary Teacher and would like some classroom experience? Are you looking for flexible work that can fit around your lifestyle? As a Graduate seeking school experience, Tradewind will be able to place you as a Cover Supervisor or a Teaching Assistant.

  • Cover Supervisor: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be required to oversee the completion of set work in the absence of the subject teacher. This role will help refine your behaviour management strategies as you are responsible for managing the behaviour of the class. You are required to safeguard students' wellbeing and provide feedback at the end of the day to the cover manager, including reporting any issues.
  • Teaching Assistant: As a Teaching Assistant, you could either work on a 1-2-1 or in a small group setting. This role could see you working with students with SEND or those identified as requiring catch up. You will be required to converse with the subject teacher to discuss specific requirements for the lesson.

Qualifications:

  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure Certificate, which is on the update service or be willing to apply for one (cost refunded after the completion of 20 days' work).

  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
